SIEMENS S35 Errors
Here it concerns the operating system of the Handys as it
were. For the S35ï there is version 5, 12 and 16 in Germany so far
three. Version 12 is not however no more used, since there was a large
error in the version, which it caused that some S3ï's switched off suddenly and
only after a Downdate on version 05 again to be switched on were.
Thus now the version 16 is available.
For an update can be returned the Handy either after Siemens, or one lets it
execute with an update partner.

Small info. should be attached to the package that an update is required on the
most current version. Siemens needs approx. 7-10 working-days. And that free of
charge!

The use of Siemens is not recommended, however the firmware becomes already 12
on some pages in the Internet (no more the most current!) offered for the
self updating. Among other things here (
LINK ).
By the update however the warranty and the Handy go out could with a false
update say good-bye.
I do not recommend thus the update likewise!!! If someone should execute
nevertheless the update, he may never reset the Handy to default values (neither
by combination of keys, nor over the menu), because otherwise is very large the
probability that o.g. Error occurs.
The Handy functions thereafter however after " a Downdate " on
version 05 again!
I take naturally nevertheless expressly no responsibility!
According to Siemens it is however not illegal, because everyone can make with
his property what he wants.
In Switzerland it looked with the updates somewhat differently:
First as into Germany the version 05, which was naturally before-installed,
came. Afterwards came version 07, then the version 10, which gave there it only
very briefly in Switzerland and now also by version 09 and by 12 one replaced
later (it tunes, only came version 10, then 09. Siemens was not conclusive and
so itself with the designation of the software would have the 10 the 08 to
actually correspond, therefore came to it the 09 - it does not ask me why like
that is...)
Since I do not approach to these versions
unfortunately, I cannot describe so far, which error in these versions still
exists, or which were recovered. The actual reason for version 07 and 09 in
Switzerland however was a card read error with Swisscom cards, whereby the Handy
occasionally did not want to accept the card always times.
For checking, which version on the Handy is, one must input easily * 06 # to #,
and if the IMEI number is displayed, which press left display key.
The errors specified here do not occur
with each S3ï!

The listed errors do not mean that the S3ï is a
bad Handy. Did someone look at itself already times the error list of the Nokia
7110 with the first software-Version (and even now still)?!? Then are you surely
gladly, a S3ï to possess, so if everyone will help you with a software upgrade,
listen to him and you will not lose...
